Prometheus Steady-Head Instructions for Use
- Open the packaging at the perforation.
- Remove the two head blocks, base plate, and adhesive tape.
- Place the base plate onto the stretcher or extrication board.
- Position the patient’s head on the base plate, aligning the ear openings for monitoring and communication.
- Move the head blocks into place against the sides of the head.
- Use the adhesive tape to secure the blocks—first across the forehead, then across the chin—fixing it to the back of the board on each side.
Single-use only. Discard as clinical waste after use, following local protocols. Use within expiry date and store away from direct sunlight or naked flames. Not intended for stabilisation beyond 24 hours.
